A camera lens-positioning device has a housing; a lens-supporting member for supporting a camera lens, provided in the housing so as to be movable in the direction of going away from an object to be shot and movable in the direction of approaching the object to be shot; a member for applying a force to the lens-supporting portion either in the direction in which the lens-supporting portion goes away from the object to be shot or in the direction in which the lens- supporting portion approaches the object to be shot; a first shape memory alloy capable of applying a force in the direction opposite that of the force applied by the force-applying member; and a second shape memory alloy capable of moving a stop member based on the relationship between the alloy and the lens-supporting member. The lens-supporting member can be stopped, using the lens stop member, between a first position away from the object to be shot and a second position close to the object to be shot. Using the device enables a camera lens positioning to be achieved with low cost, low electric power, and simple structure, and using a small space.
