<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable supply of ink in a desired density even to a densely-lined area and printing with different densities on the same plate surface and also to enable printing of densely-lined dots or minute characters with a high density, for a printing plate of a letterpress system. <P>SOLUTION: In letterpress printing equipment which has a plate cylinder 5 having the printing plate 6 and an impression cylinder 7 so disposed as to hold a printing base material 8 between the plate cylinder and it and to pass it through, an ink discharging device 11 equipped with a large number of nozzles discharging the ink onto the plate surface is so provided as to be opposed to the whole width of the effective printing area of the printing plate 6, and the ink is discharged and supplied directly to individual plate projections of the printing plate in this constitution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
