PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid container and a liquid ejector in which contamination due to leakage of liquid can be prevented. SOLUTION: When an ink cartridge 70 is removed from a cartridge holder 21, the protrusion 28 of a holder case abuts against the proximal end of the guide groove 84 of the ink cartridge 70. Movement of the ink cartridge 70 is thereby regulated and the ink cartridge 70 is positioned at a draw-out position P3 where the connection surface 70a comes into tight contact with the exposed portion 44a of the absorber of a slider 41. Ink leaking from the take-out opening of the ink cartridge 70 is absorbed surely by the exposed portion 44a of the absorber of a slider 41. Consequently, contamination of the ink cartridge 70 and the inside of the printer frame due to leaked ink can be prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
