<p>A medical device guiding system whose propulsion control characteristics can be improved. A capsule guiding system (1) has a rotating electromagnetic field generating device (4) for generating a rotating electromagnetic field that is to be applied to the inside of an subject from the outside of the subject, a capsule (3) inserted into the body cavity of the subject, a magnet (16) provided in the capsule (3) and acting on the rotating electromagnetic field generated by the rotating electromagnetic field generating device (4), a spiral projection (12) provided on the outer surface of the capsule (3) and converting rotating motion created by the magnet (16) into propulsion force, a control device (6) for controlling the rotating electromagnetic field generating device (4) so that conditions of the rotating electromagnetic field generated by the rotating electromagnetic field generating device (4) is continuously varied, and a capsule rotation direction pattern generator (41) for interchanging, at each set rotation angle, the direction of rotation of the rotating magnetic field generated by the rotating electromagnetic field generating device (4).</p> |
