PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lift for workpiece requiring less number of control parts, simply formed, and manufacturable at low cost. SOLUTION: This lift for workpiece comprises a liftdown mechanism 2 moving a work W from a work carry-in position P3 to a work carry-out position P4 under the work carry-in position. The liftdown mechanism 2 comprises a work loading table 21 for loading, thereon, the work W carried into the work carry-in position P3, a rope 31 holdingly suspending the work loading table 21 at its one end and a weight member 32 heavier than the work loading table 21 at its other end, and a pulley 33 for wrapping, therearound, the intermediate part of the rope 31. When the work W is carried into the work carry-in position P3, the work loading table 21 heavier than the weight member 32 lowers and reaches the carry-out position P4, and when the work W is unloaded, the work loading table 21 lighter than the weight member 32 rises and reaches the work carry-in position P3.
