FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves processing injured tooth X-ray examination data. Optical density of dental bone tissue is determined from the X-ray examination data in the dental root bifurcation vicinity along longitudinal axis coinciding with bifurcation axis and drawn to cortical plate of permanent tooth germ and along transverse axis drawn over tooth roots middle points. The obtained values are compared to optical density threshold values taken to be equal to optical density values of 0.125, 0.3, and 0.6. Obtained dental bone tissue optical density values measured in the dental root bifurcation vicinity belonging to an interval between 0.125 and 0.3, vital amputation of injured tooth pulp is to be selected. Obtained dental bone tissue optical density values belonging to an interval between 0.3 and 0.6, devital amputation of injured tooth pulp is to be selected. Obtained dental bone tissue optical density values being greater than 0.6, pulp extirpation is to be selected. ^ EFFECT: high accuracy in selecting treatment method. |
