PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for manufacturing a thermoelectric conversion element while suppressing waste of element without requiring a large scale dicing facility. SOLUTION: The process for manufacturing a thermoelectric conversion element comprises a step for producing a sintered material 10 of predetermined profile for the thermoelectric conversion element, and a step for pushing the sintered material 10 into a block 4 sectioned to match the size of a chip element 11 in order to separate the chip element 11.
