<p>The stacking mechanism is particularly for flat sweets, delivered by a conveyor belt. On both sides of the conveyor track are shafts (4) extending in the travel direction, and spaced apart for the width of the items (1) handled. These are equipped with rollers or discs transporting the items in the vertical direction, and having chambers (7) open to the outside and enclosing the items, leaving an intervening clearance. A switch unit has a release device extending into the path of the items, and cuts in an indexing drive for the transport rollers (3) as soon as an item arrives between them.</p> |
