The invention relates to a cartridge motor comprising a housing (10); a stator (15) affixed to the housing (15), a rotor (18) sharing a common central axis with stator (15); a shaft (20) running through the rotor (18) along the common central axis; a fastener (30,500,600,620,700) for locking the rotor (18) to the housing (10) during shipment, and thereby maintaining an appropriate gap between the rotor (18) and the stator (15); a flexible member (400) connected to the shaft (20); a feedback device (40) connected to the housing (10), whereby the flexible member (400) allows axial and radial adjustments between the shaft (20) and the feedback device (35) while maintaining rotational alignment; and a feedback bearing (50) providing rotational support between the feedback device rotor (35) and the feedback device (40). |
