<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component-mounting machine which has a box-like structure constituted by fastening a plurality of metal plates and satisfies all requirements for the box-like structure to secure the mechanical strength, to reduce the weight, to reduce variation in the quality and to improve the productivity and mounting accuracy for components. <P>SOLUTION: A main body bed 13 on which a supplying device for components, a circuit substrate conveying device, a fitting device, etc., are loaded is the box-like structure constituted by fastening a right and a left side plates 21, 22, a bottom plate 23 and an upper surface plate 24 mainly with blind rivets 25. A plurality of reinforcing plates 26 are disposed like partitions inside the main body bed, and in four side portions of each reinforcing plate 26, flange portions bent at the right angle, the side plates 21, 22, the bottom plate 23 and the upper surface plate 24 are each fastened with the blind rivets 25.
