PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading apparatus with little leakage of an electromagnetic wave noise and a method of preventing the leakage of the electromagnetic wave noise without using a frequency diffusing function device and a component, such as a magnetic material, etc. SOLUTION: A lens 102, a drive substrate 105, a control substrate 106 and a cable for connecting them are constituted on the same conductor.
