PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod which can change over a plurality of yarn guides in which adjacent intervals are different. SOLUTION: The yarn guide installation positions are each determined at 180°diagonal position in the circumferential direction of the outer peripheral surface of a second rod 2. A plurality of yarn guides 2A and 2B are installed in the axial direction of the second rod 2 every yarn guide installation phase and installation intervals LA-1 and LB-1 of yarn guides which are adjacent in the axial direction are kept in different intervals every the yarn guide installation phase.
