A multipurpose clamping device for use in households, workshops and other places allows unfastening at will of objects fastened on walls, furniture and other supports or may be used as a door-restrainer. The device, formed of plastics material, has a clamping and unclamping snap action constructed to avoid material fatigue, whilst considerable forces are opposed to the removal of objects retained. The device has a bending spring (10) of curved or angular form and holding parts (22, 26) held together by film hinges (12, 13, 18) in such a way that sections of the holding parts insert themselves into the bending spring in the closed position. |
