PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery charge control unit reliability of which is improved by equalizing the loads applied to two wires that are bonded to the cathode electrodes of thyristor chips for controlling the outputs.
SOLUTION: Diodes Du-Dw and Dx-Dz that make up a converter circuit that converts an AC output of a magnet alternator into a DC output and supplies it to a battery and thyristors Thu-Thw are mounted on heat sinks Hu-Hw. As the thyristors Thu-Thw, chip thyristors with the anode electrodes jointed to the heat sinks are used. Two wires W2a, W2b are used to cause the anode current of each thyristor to flow, and these two wires W2a, W2b are bonded to the cathode electrode K of each thyristor. Two bonding points Ba and Bb on the cathode electrodes K, where the wires W2a, W2b are bonded, are positioned at equal distances from gate electrodes G.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
