<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver for minimizing a hardware scale even if path monitoring processing and cell monitoring processing are made performed in parallel and minimizing a processing time. <P>SOLUTION: When transmitting a correlation operation processing request from a cell monitor 104 and a path monitor 106 to a correlation operation section 103, requests from both of them are controlled and processed by the common correlation operation section 103, and overlapping factors are deleted in advance, thus reducing the circuit scale and power consumption.
