摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for efficiently expressing a fusion protein in a magnetic bacterium. <P>SOLUTION: It is found that the protein is expressed in the bacterium with high efficiency by a promoter of a gene encoding proteins Msp1, Msp2 and Msp3 expressed on a magnetic microparticle membrane of the magnetic bacterium Magnetospirillum magneticum AMB-1. Specific base sequences of promoter regions (Pmsp1, Pmsp2 and Pmsp3) of the gene are provided and even a method for expressing the protein in the bacterium utilizing these promoters is disclosed.
