PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for reserving access point in which a wireless communication terminal can be utilized surely and conveniently while moving by train, or the like, and to provide constitutional articles. SOLUTION: The access point reservation system 1A makes a wireless communication terminal 7, a Web server 3a, an access point location information data base 3b, a wireless resource reservation server 6, and access points 4a, 4b and 4c communicable through the Internet 2. The wireless communication terminal 7 accesses the first Web server 3a and the access point location information data base 3b and retrieves route information or map information, and location information of the access points 4a, 4b and 4c. The wireless resource reservation server 6 performs user authentication of the wireless communication terminal 7 and reverses the access points 4a, 4b and 4c based on the results of retrieval from the Web server 3a if the user is authenticated.
