PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a structure capable of accurately controlling an outer diameter dimension of an outer ring 3, and hardly causing damage such as chipping on a ceramic sprayed layer 6a of chamfering faces 10, 10 of the outer ring 3 when the outer ring 3 is incorporated in a housing. SOLUTION: An outer peripheral face and axial both end faces of the outer ring 3 are coated with the ceramic sprayed layer 6a. As the ceramic sprayed layer 6a is continuously formed on the outer peripheral face and the axial both end faces by one thermal spraying nozzle 9, a film thickness can be substantially equalized excluding both end edge parts. By applying this constitution, excessive increase of the film thickness of the ceramic sprayed layer 6a on the chamfering parts 10, 10 can be prevented, thus a problem can be solved.
