A display is provided with a position detecting means utilizing a first transparent electrode film (26), which is a constitutive member of an SW-LCD (12) performing viewing angle control, as a touch panel, which means detects currents flowing from a plurality of points of the first transparent electrode film (26) when an article touches the surface of the first electrode film (26) and finds the contact position based on the detection results. Consequently, a display integrating a touch sensor, a viewing angle controller and an electronic apparatus realizing reduction in thickness, weight and cost can be provided.
