PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sounding device useful to prevent a criminal act by producing an intense explosion sound equivalent to stun grenade without dispersing chip or the like of a combustion residue of explosives, spark, thermal particle, or the other component at all, increasing the fear of a human being, and further paralyzing the motion function for a moment to prevent a criminal act, and to provide a sounding device capable of being installed mainly in a store or a factory. SOLUTION: The sounding device comprises a sounding body formed by blocking, with a sounding body, the opening of a closed-end cylindrical body storing a sounding powder and an explosive igniter, and a case that has a space inside, a sounding hole opening to the outside, and a filter for collecting and filtering the combustion residue contained in the combustion gas (sounding gas) generated by combustion of the sounding powder that is arranged adjacent to the sounding hole.
