PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of ensuring the cooling quantity of a cooling chamber even in a case that a cooling load quantity is increased, and suppressing an uneven temperature within the cooling chamber. SOLUTION: The cooling chamber 6 includes a cooling plate 25 arranged along the rear wall of an inner box 2, a decorative plate 21 covering the cooling plate 25, and a cooling fan 26. The cooling plate 25 is set between the inner box 2 and the decorative plate 21 to form cold air circulating passages between the cooling plate 25 and the inner box 2 and between the cooling plate 25 and the decorative plate 21. The clearance between the cooling plate 25 and the decorative plate 21 is set larger than the clearance between the cooling plate 25 and the inner box 2. According to this, the air quantity guided into the cooling chamber 6 is increased, and even if the cooling load quantity is increased, the cooling quantity of the cooling chamber can be ensured.
