MUSICAL COMPOSITION RECOMMENDATION DEVICE AND METHOD

A CPU (211) recommends a musical composition matching the search keyword inputted by a user from the recommendation range including the matching range on a search coordinate plane and reproduces them sequentially. Only when a musical composition in a first or second update range is reproduced, the matching range is updated according to the feedback by the user. If the musical composition in the first update range matches the sensibility of the user, the matching range is so updated that it increases; contrarily if the musical composition in the second update range does not, the matching range is so updated that it decreases. The updated matching range is stored in a search table (272).
