PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular door monitoring device to check the safety of a vehicle when a door is opened/closed. SOLUTION: The vehicular door monitoring device comprises right and left side mirrors 11, 12 in a vehicle or image take-in members 23, 24 provided on both sides of a rear portion of the vehicle, an image processing member 20 which is connected to output ends of the image take-in members to perform image processing and determination, at least one monitor 25 which is connected to an output end of the image processing member 20 to display the peripheral situation of the vehicle, a microprocessor 30 to determine presence/absence of a moving object around the vehicle by the data output from the image processing member 20, and an interlocking mechanism 31 which is controlled by the microprocessor 30 and connected to a door locking mechanism 33.
