<p>In an industrial surrounding, in mountaineering and similar situations the person to be rescued has frequently to be moved through a narrow gap or channel, usually performed by using a tube-shaped device. The new design of a stretcher (1) has the shape of a semi-tube (4), open at the top, avoiding the creation of claustrophobia. The head accommodating segment (6) is of a smaller size and fitted with a removable face shield (8). The legs and the stretched out arms can be positioned on top of the extending outer ends (14, 15).</p> |
