PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining metal plate as joint fittings for building construction, which improves the safety and efficiency of work to easily join together many principal rafters with Sumi-shinzuka (the central king post) when a roof is assembled at a high place at construction work site. SOLUTION: This is a flat joining plate 2 used, as a joint plate for building construction, together with a main metal body 1 having vertical slits 12. An engaging part 20 is provided at the front bottom of the flat joining plate to engage with one of the vertical slits. Bolt holes 21 are bored at the center or rear part of the flat joining plate through which joining bolts are inserted to join the joining plate with wood components of building. The engaging part 20 consists of a recess 22a to engage with the bottom of the slit 12 and a tilting part 22b that opens forward from this recess. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
