<p>A base board (2) of a long body holding apparatus (1) is provided with a holding part (4) for holding a long body (3) and a fixing part (6) for fixing the holding part (4) on a member (5) whereupon the holding part (4) is to be fixed. The holding part (4) is composed of a lock part (9) for attaching a band (7) and the band (7) which is attached to the lock part (9) and is provided with a plurality of locking parts (8). The lock part (9) is composed of a first lock mechanism (10) wherein one end (inserting end) (13) of the band (7) is inserted into the base board (2) for removably fixing the locking part (8) of the band (7); and a second lock mechanism (11) for removably locking the other end on the opposite side to the inserting end (13) of the band part (7). The long body holding apparatus can cope with change of the diameter of a long body and the long body can be easily mounted and removed.</p>
