<p>A tape which is adhesive on both surfaces, is used to form the hems at the bottom and sides of lined curtains. A ruffling band with gathering cords is fitted, and has a number of self-adhesive tapes, so that the curtain can be finished at the top and suspended from a rail. The tape may adhere on contact or become adhesive when heated, and for pref. the tape which is adhesive on both surfaces is a hook and loop cloth prod. (Velcro) (RTM). The curtain is lined on its reverse side with a self-adhering jersey fabric. Holes at the edges may facilitate the formation of the hems, and the curtain can be made easily and quickly without seams.</p> |
