The excess pressure compensation device is located in a pipe (6), which feeds cold water via a back pressure valve (11) from the water supply mains to the secondary side of the domestic water heat exchanger. The device consists of a cylinder (4) connected to the pipe, and containing a sealed piston (7) and a helical spring (9), which charges the piston in direction of the pipe. The cylinder fastened to the pipe via a T-shaped fitting (5). The spring is a pressure spring located at the outer end of the cylinder between the piston and a plug (10). The piston has two pref. O-shaped sealing rings. |
