The mechanism to open and close a door has an electromotor (30) within a housing (10), together with an electrical or mechanical and/or hydraulic transmission. The motor is mounted within the housing with acoustic and vibration insulation. The motor is bonded to a flange plate (20) in a force or positive fit by an opening (21) to take the motor flange (31), which is locked in the housing in a positive fit with a damper (23) between the plate and the housing. The three side walls (11) of the housing have inner ribs (12) with a gap (16) between them to accommodate the flange plate and damper.
