The lance has a jet pipe (1), and a spray nozzle from which a spraying jet (3) is emitted out. A slide roller (4) or a sliding plate provided at the jet pipe transfers the resultant force from the spraying jet to an underbody of a motor vehicle. The slide roller is guided by a handle (2). A hinge is provided within the roller or the sliding plate. The hinge limits the inclination of the jet pipe and the spraying jet.
