摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for improving the thermal efficiency of a dry low emission combustor assembly. <P>SOLUTION: The system 10 includes warm air sources 58 and 94 capable of raising the ambient temperature of an inlet air stream 66 received by an air inlet 156 of the dry low emission combustor assembly 22 while operating at a partial load until the system 10 reaches a new equilibrium state having improved thermal efficiency. The method for improving the thermal efficiency of the dry low emission combustor assembly 22 is also disclosed. This method includes a step of including the sources 58 and 94 of warmer air with the inlet air stream 66 received by the air inlet of the dry low emission combustor assembly 22 while operating at a partial load until the system 10 reaches the new equilibrium state having improved thermal efficiency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
