摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid adverse influence of a lateral electric field and variation in source potential. SOLUTION: A driving circuit for an electrooptical device is equipped with: a scan driving means 104 of selecting two scanning lines separated from each other in one horizontal period to sequentially supply gate pulses and shifting two lines to be selected in next one horizontal period by one line each; an image rearraying means 61 of synthesizing an input image and its delay signal and arraying a composite image of horizontal frequency twice as high as the horizontal frequency of the input image in a signal arrangement corresponding to scanning of the scan driving means to obtain a write image; and an enable signal generating means 61b of generating, as an enable signal for selecting two mutually separate scanning lines respectively, an enable signal having a logical value for selecting no scanning line in the timing of polarity inversion of the image signal supplied to a source line in one horizontal period of the input image.
