PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottle cutting device for efficiently and easily cutting a bottle with simpler constitution. SOLUTION: In place of a conventional bottle cutting device, this bottle cutting device is provided with a cutting mechanism having a cutter with a sharp cutting edge capable of cutting the bottle; a first pressing member having a first pressing surface capable of pressing the bottle toward the cutting edge; a second pressing member having a second pressing surface capable of pressing the bottle toward the first pressing surface; a support mechanism for supporting the first pressing member and the second pressing member in a relatively movable manner with the first pressing surface and the second pressing surface facing each other with a storage space for storing the bottle, held in between; and a moving mechanism for relatively moving the cutting mechanism, the first pressing member and the second pressing member to project the cutting edge into the storage space when bringing the first pressing surface close to the cutting edge and to retract the cutting edge from the storage space when separating the first pressing surface from the cutting edge.
