The invention relates to a method for remote-controlled programming of a program-controlled device (3) and to an arrangement comprising an interface (4) which is used to receive program data, an authorisation, and a remote-controlled, program-controlled device (3) comprising a processor (12) and a program memory (8). According to the inventive method, program data can be remotely-transmitted by a control point (9) to an interface (4) and temporarily stored in a buffer memory (7). Subsequently, authorisation is transferred from the control point (9) to the interface (4) and from said interface to the device (3). Said device (3) examines the authorisation and retrieves the program data from the buffer memory (7) if the result is positive.
