A navigation device has a display device, a control device for controlling so that indexes selected to operate a predetermined function are displayed on the display device, and an instruction device for allowing a user to instruct a selection of the displayed indexes. In the control device, the indexes are arranged in two rows in the vertical direction such that indexes arranged in either of the two rows and indexes arranged in the other row are displaced relative to each other in the vertical direction, and the control device displays the entire indexes such that the indexes arranged in at least the either of the two rows project toward the indexes in the other row.
