<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a factor for promoting the hair reproduction and to provide a method for efficiently screening the factor. <P>SOLUTION: It is found that the factor activating a PKC (protein kinase C) has an activity of promoting the hair reproduction. Furthermore, it is found that the activity of promoting the hair reproduction can easily be screened by providing a transgenic mouse highly expressing the PKC.
