<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive coil spring for suppressing abnormal noises by damping vibration, without increasing the number of components and manufacturing man-hours. <P>SOLUTION: Part 26a of a joint coil portion 26 of a coil spring 24 has close contact with a whole coiled seat portion 25 without producing a gap between part 26a and the coiled seat portion 25. Thus, abnormal noises are suppressed by damping the vibration of the coil spring 24 which is generated when a compression set load F is imparted to apply operating force on the coil spring 24 in a set condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
