<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film having excellent properties without generating an irritant or toxic gas or the like on the production and use, capable of being stably produced, and having extremely superior hydrolytic resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The polyester film comprises a polyester and a hydrolysis-preventing agent, wherein the hydrolysis-preventing agent is (a) an alkyl ester of a fatty acid, having an epoxy group, and/or (b) a glycerol ester of a fatty acid, having an epoxy group.
