SURFACE LIGHT SOURCE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface light source device capable of condensing emission light into the required range of emission angle and performing uniform illumination without unevenness irrespective of the position of observing a screen.

SOLUTION: The surface light source device is constituted by combining a light source part having linear light emission tubes 11 plurally arranged side by side and a reflection plate 12, a diffusion lens array sheet 13 which diffuses light to the emission side so as to correct illuminance unevenness and arranges a plurality of unit lenses which emit the light so as to align emission angles in a prescribed range, side by side on the emission surface side, and a diffusion sheet 14 which is disposed more on the emission side than the diffusion lens array sheet and assists the diffusion function of the diffusion lens array sheet.
