PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated circuit for supplying a video signal, which enables both of a controller for a color printing engine requiring only one kind of external synchronizing signal and a controller for a color printing engine requiring four kinds of external synchronizing signals to be manufactured in such a manner that a noise is not included in each video signal. SOLUTION: This integrated circuit 10 for supplying the video signal is equipped with a connection relation switching circuit 12L for the external synchronizing signal and the like. When "0" is set in a prescribed register, the circuit 12L supplies each of a signal input into a terminal for LSYNC_K (a terminal for the external synchronizing signal for K), a signal input into a terminal for LSYNC_Y, a signal input into a terminal for LSYNC_M, and a signal input into a terminal for LSYNC_C, as each of LSYNC_K, LSYNC_Y, LSYNC_M, and LSYNC_C, to an internal circuit 11. When "0" is set in a prescribed register E, the circuit 12L supplies the signal input into the terminal for LSYNC_K, as LSYNC_K, LSYNC_Y, LSYNC_M, and LSYNC_C, to the internal circuit 11.
