The clamping component (50) for the fastening of especially pumps (16) in rails beneath a bath has two heads (2,14) which are rotatable relative to a center section (8) and designed to engage in the rails (1,15). One head is connected to the center section by a threaded bolt (4,13), and the other head is rotatably connected to the center section. The center section has a cross section which deviates from a circular shape and is encompassed by a sliding component (10) with a through-hole (11) corresponding to the cross section of the center section. Clamping takes place between each head and the sliding section. An independent claim is included for a mounting system for the fastening of especially pumps to rails beneath a bath, which includes the aforesaid clamping component.
