A sealed plate (10) is corrugated with a series of longitudinal corrugations (5) and a series of transverse corrugations (6). A reinforcing convex ridge is protruding on the side of internal face or external face and made locally on at least one lateral face of corrugation supporting the ridge. The internal face of plate is set in contact with the fluid. An independent claim is also included for a sealed and thermally insulating tank.
