PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of eliminating slip at a feeding means, and stabilizing feeding quality by using material that is easily electrified on the positive side in a triboelectric series for an inclination member to material of the feeding means. SOLUTION: This device is provided with the feeding means 4 to get in contact with the sheet material 2 accumulated on a sheet loading member 1 to feed the sheet material 2 to a separation part, and the inclination member 6 provided with an inclination surface 6a to which the fed direction tip of the sheet material 2 is applied. The inclination member 6 has an abutment surface 6b to the feeding means 4 formed as a projection along the axial direction of the feeding means 4. The tip of the inclination surface 6a is applied to the feeding means 4 by an edge part, the sheet material 2 is fed to the separation part by the feeding means 4, and the fed sheet material 2 is separated and carried by the inclination surface 6a of the inclination member 6 and a nip forming part in the sheet material feeding method.
