PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a blasting compaction method also to the building lot ground, the road ground, a river dyke, or the like by positively controlling influence (ground deformation) on the peripheral ground adjoining an improved range. SOLUTION: In this blasting compaction method, a large number of blast holes 3 are formed in the ground at predetermined spaces, and explosives are inserted and installed in the predetermined depth positions of the blast holes 3 and exploded to compact the ground, wherein a wall body (a steel sheet pile) 1 for preventing or reducing the rise of pore water pressure in a private land area S caused by explosion is constructed beforehand at a boundary part between a soil improved range H and the private land area S where no ground deformation should occur, outside the soil improved range H.
