PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compounds that are anandamide transport inhibitors, and to provide pharmacological use thereof. SOLUTION: The inhibitor is an anandamide analog indicating tail, central and head pharmacophore portions represented by structural formula (I): X-Y-Z. Wherein, the tail portion X is a fatty acid chain remnant, an aliphatic hydrocarbon or a biphenyl with an alkyl chain; the central portion Y is NH-C(O), NH, NH-C(O)-NH, NH-C(O)-O or the like; and the head portion Z is H, an aryl, a substituted aryl alkyl, an alkyl aryl or the like.
