<p>Disclosed are a method and an associated device for verifying a biometric signature by means of a very simple and secure calculation that is suitable for chip card-type objects. The inventive method is based on the fact that a biometric signature which is obscured by a combination of false biometric data and true biometric data, and an associated authentication code are memorized within the object while a terminal captures a digital fingerprint, compares the same to the obscured biometric signature transmitted by the card, and transfers the result of said comparison to the chip card, the chip card then validating the result by means of the authentication code.</p> |
