<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image forming apparatus capable of holding sensor calibration precision high to enable stable detection by a color sensor. <P>SOLUTION: The color image forming apparatus 1 equipped, as representative constitution, with a photosensitive drum 50 which forms developer images of a plurality of colors and a fixing unit 61, fixing the developer images formed on a sheet P has a color sensor S1 which detects the chromaticity of a test pattern developer image fixed by the fixing unit 61 and a sensor calibration member C1 to be a reference, when absolute chromaticity adjustment of the color sensor S1 is carried out; and the sensor correcting member C1 has a plurality of seals C1a, indicating absolute chromaticity and a seal C1a detected by the color sensor S1 can be changed to a new seal C1a, at least once. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
