<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tag reader capable of selectively attenuating only a carrier component included in a received signal. <P>SOLUTION: A reception circuit 16 of a reader/writer 11 is provided with a waveform shaping circuit 15 that is configured with anti-parallel connection of two sets of series circuits each comprising a diode 33 and a Zener diode 34 whose anodes are connected in common and attenuates a carrier component at a level equivalent to a half or below of a value resulting from decreasing an input voltage permissible range of the reception circuit 16 from a voltage rage of the received signal in response to the polarity of the received signal by adjusting a Zener voltage VZ. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
