PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing belt having satisfactory adhesiveness between a base body and a metal thin film layer, and a satisfactory mechanical characteristic. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of fixing belt, a metal layer is formed on the surface layer part of heat-resistant resin film base material with metal fine particles having average particle size of 1 to 100 nm contained on the surface layer part.
