METHOD FOR PRODUCING FUEL-TREATING AGENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a fuel-treating agent by which sulfur contained in a fuel such as gas, gasoline and kerosene can efficiently be removed.

SOLUTION: The method for producing the fuel-treating agent comprising a metal-inorganic oxide composite comprises (a) molding a powder comprising an inorganic oxide and/or an inorganic hydroxide having a regulated water content by a molding machine, (b) drying and/or firing the molded product and (c) reducing at least a part of the oxide and/or hydroxide while fluidizing the molded product. Preferably, the temperature at the reduction in the step (c) is 150-600°C.
